STARI GRAD
Stari Grad (Faros) is the oldest town in Croatia.
The story of Faros, today's Stari Grad, began back in 384 BC when the ancient Greeks from the island of Paros sailed into Stari Grad Bay and founded the town.
Close to the shore, with a large square in front of it, is Tvrdalj - a monumental Renaissance castle of an eminent Stari Grad nobleman Petar Hektorović.
